For your convenience, our most common guest questions are answered right here.
Not finding what you want? Ask us directly through our Contact Us page.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation or can I just show up?
A: You need to make a reservation. We keep our tours small so that your experience is more like walking with a friend than being in a herd. Plus, if no one books a particular tour, we won't be there to give it! We are happy to give a tour to even one guest, however, so book it!
Q: What if I decide not to go on the tour after I book it?
A: We know plans can change when you're traveling, so as long as you let us know at least 24 hours in advance that you will not be attending, we can refund your money or book you on a different tour.
Q: Can I tip the tour guide?
A: Absolutely! It is customary to tip tour guides, and we love it when you show us your appreciation with a gratuity!
Q: Do the tours still go in the rain?
A: Yes. New Orleans weather is unpredictable (except in the summer - it is always hot!) so we tour rain or shine. Extreme weather can cancel or postpone a tour, but in that case you'll be notified.
Q: What should I bring with me on a Lucky Bean walking tour?
A: Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water to drink, and an umbrella if you have one. Umbrellas come in handy in rain or bright sun.
Q: What happens after I book a tour?
A: You will receive confirmation letter right after you book. The night before the tour, you will receive a text message from your guide with his or her contact information. If you have any more questions, you can contact us.
